Epitanime 2004 - Paris - France

This covention is a little strange for the italian guys...
in fact it was in a high school...
the classrooms was used as rooms for the Karaoke, Dance games, cineforums etc...
In the yard there was the stage and in the garage there were the stands,
professionals and fanzines.

There was many material of various animes and games also of new series,
the prices of the stands were good.

Talking of the activities,
the karaoke was divided in three section:
nocturne (here there wasn't competition,
is good to see the guys that dance and sing the OP and ED of the animes, like if they are to a concert!).

Another section was that dedicated to single karaoke,
you bringed your base and you can sing on this.
Then there was also the group karaoke.

About the live nocturne; it was very strange...
the people sleeped also on the floor or on the benchs

. In relation to the cosplay...like at the Japan Expo also here it was organized very well!
Before of the performance there was a Photoshoot and the staff prepared also the food for the cosplayers.
The people asked many photos to the cosplayers, also of unknow series.

This convention is really particular because is made not for profit but with heart by fans...
Maybe is in places like these that you see the real fans of comics, animes, and games.
