Lucca Comics & Games 2004 - Lucca - Italy

Finally Lucca reborn from her ashes like the Phoenix...infact the edition of the 2004 was better respect previous editions.

It was more little as place, but the stands were put in good position...about the material, in this field all the Italian coventions have many problems, infact except some rare case there is few material. About FF always the same items...and about FMA...really few, only some gashapon (that was impossible to buy single) and some other gagdets...but nothing of relevant.

About the cosplay...like every year there is always some problems, but this year they were few respect the last year.

the main problem was the stage, again very little and with big costumes was difficult to do a good performance. Another problem was the method of valutation, that the jury's members couldn't talk between themself about the winners, so it could happen that some cosplayers win two or more prizes (also our group won two prizes for this problem, but about this I will write a short note below this report)*.

Except these problems the cosplay was in the normal style of Lucca, it was outside (and luckily this year didn't rain), there were many cosplayers, and the quality of the dresses was good.

About the character cosplayed...like is always in Italy the most was of anime and manga known in this country, typical problems of the Italian...is difficult to learn the english or is difficult to read the subtitles...(I hate my country also for this close mentality!!!), anyway for these stupid problems, except few costumes, all were of old series for Japan, but "new" for the Italy.

While about Karaoke, was really cool like always, the Kimagure Girls are really nice!!!^_____^

Ok About this I can say that this Lucca was quite good^____^ I hope that it will be always better!!!^______^

* about our group and our two prizes, I would like to say something...I know that to give two prizes at the same group or person is not correct, but with the method of this year was really possible...So I pray all the persons that say bad about the jury without to know the real fact to stop with their accusations, because this year the blame isn't of the jury but of the bad method of valutation.

Anyway because I'm a correct person and I think to have win enough this year, the next edition of the Lucca's Cosplay I won't partecipe at it, but I will be, if it's possible, in jury; so there won't be more bad comments on my group or on another members of the Jury of the 2004.
